Joe Durand

Joe Durand, the President, has been in the insurance industry for 28 years. After college, he spent four years as a claims adjuster with GAB Business Services and the Transamerica Insurance Group. He then spent 11 years with Masters Building Company, specializing in insurance restoration. In October of 2002, Joe joined the Baty Agency as partner and Vice-President. His knowledge of claims and ability to properly determine home replacement values ensures that your home and personal belongings will be properly covered in the event of a loss.


Greg Austin

Greg Austin is a consultant for the Baty Agency, and has been a respected professional in the insurance business for over 50 years. Before becoming our consultant, he was the President of the Baty Agency for 10 years. Greg has earned the Auto-Owners Insurance Company's "President's Club" award 13 times. This award is given to the top 25 life and annuity producers in the nation! Greg's commitment to superior service has lead to him speaking to several agency groups.


Shirley Lane

Shirley Lane began her career in Greenville, Michigan Shirley is a 44 year veteran of the insurance agency business. After 20 years in Greenville, she spent 3 years in Somerville, New Jersey as a licensed agent before returning to Michigan in 1990. In 1993 she joined the Baty agency and became partner in October of 2002. As Vice-President and office manager, she is responsible for overseeing all operations of the agency.


Sharon Mizzi

Sharon Mizzi is a customer support representative who started with the Baty Agency in 2007. She has extensive industry experience. In addition to handling claims, she is responsible for policy reviews and updates as well as assisting in bookkeeping activities.


Tammy Drumm

Tammy Drumm joined the Agency in August of 2011 and brought 22 years of agency experience with her. Her duties include quoting new business, policy reviews, and updates.


Susan Hall

Susan is the newest addition to the Baty family. She joined our team in November of 2017 as a part-time employee. She has 30 years of experience in the industry and is licensed in P&C and Life. Susan's duties include quoting new business, customer support, policy reviews, and updates.
